OUR FARM
We farm on the Gauteng region in rust de winter. Our farm is 1800 hectares and is divided as follows:
Dry Land is 620 ha
Cultivated land is 140 ha
Grazing land is 2966 ha
The grazing land is utilized by well adapted cattle and sheep whereas cultivated land is mainly maize, soya bean and oats.

Dohne Merino and SA mutton merino is two dominant breeds at Kimsi Dohne. They are part of us because of the below traits:
Best quality genetic transfer in the form wool i.e. Greasy wool, clean yield, fleece weight
Best quality carcases that is on demand i.e. Lean meat, early maturity, FCR, Tenderness
